If you enjoy watching LGR for his "oddware" videos, then you'll immediately know this thing. eBay listing image from which I bought my particular unit. This is a combination PC speakers + subwoofer set that fits entirely within a 5.25" PC drive bay slot. A modern PC with retro style - Part 1

Ever since I finished my last Windows XP build, I felt something was missing. I had put together something with a case that absolutely exemplified the style I loved, but besides the case, there wasn't much intrigue. From watching RETRO Hardware's videos I started to desire a machine that was absolutely ultimate in terms of modifications and looks. I wanted something that required much more thorough effort and could easily show off such mods. The Raidmax Scorpio has the unfortunate side effect of hiding everything up front behind a big decorative door. These wants would come to a boiling point as my desire to move away from the family PC and have a machine of my own increased to a maximum. The time was just right, as I soon inherited a performance-segment prebuilt PC from around 2014. PC hardware #1 - 'Pretty & Gaudy' Aspire 500W Power supply

This has a pretty interesting story. I was browsing google images for interesting PC mods from that time, and came across a review for the Aspire 500W ATX Power supply by TechFreaks.org. You can read the review Here. I was i nstantly captivated by how amazingly cheesy it looked - it was like a kid's toy. Almost every component was a completely different, high-contrast color, and to top it off it was all stuck in a transparent box with light-up fans. I then saw RETRO Hardware's video about it and was further fixated on this strange bit of kit.
